What an AMAZINGLY Great Day to be a Rotarian!

Today was a GREAT day to be a Sunrise Rotarian.  Since the beginning of the Covid restrictions we have put off the induction of new members but TODAY was the day to make our newest members official.  May each of you find the joy and friendship that Rotary has to offer.  Welcome to the club.   Jim Coffin, Amber Holen, Brianne Phillips, Kelly Wright, Lori Cole, Keri Ann Smialek, Daryl Hensel and not pictured Colleen Miller.

We had a guest in the house as well.  Gunnar joined us to test the waters.  His story about his father’s time in Rotary and growing up with Rotary in the home reminds us that being a Rotarian can carry on through our families.

The club voted on going forward with a new fun project call “A Day in the Life of a Rotarian!”  $200 will be allocated out of the Foundation for the grand prize.  More to come!

Congratulations Sunrise Rotarian’s, our endowed scholarship at LCCC is going to allocate funds to a male and female student again this year.  We are helping the future through education.

Remember the Noon Club still has raffle tickets available for the 2021 Ford Bronco or $20,000.

We voted on becoming proud sponsors of a section of the Cheyenne Greenway.  Our responsibility is to do a clean up of our section twice a year or anytime one of us takes a walk on our sponsored section.  Thanks Kelly and Jim.  We lean into the Rotary environmental push for tomorrow.

Golf tournament sponsors and golfers still needed for the tournament on 6/18/21.  Contact Brenda with suggestions.

Thank you Steve for inducting the newest members.

Blessings - see you in two weeks.
