Note from the new President on golf fundraiser

My friends in Sunrise Rotary:
If you would have asked me last night while I sat on my deck exhausted from the day why I am a Rotarian - I would have proudly stated "because of days like today! The whole club came together to make a big difference for others!"
As always I would love to thank the golf committee for just making it all happen - Kathy, Doc, Pat and Kevin. Thank you so much for all you do and the extra effort you always give. To all of you who showed to golf, watched a hole, got a business to sponsor a hole or gave a donation to help make the final tally larger - thank you! When an entire team shows up - you always WIN!
A special thanks to Tim Joannides and Halladay Motors for the "Hole in Sponsorship!" Although no one won the beautiful car or the other items, we were encouraged to keep trying.
I wish we could capture the spirit from Friday and place it in the meeting room on Tuesday morning - there would be a glow shining out every window at Little America.
