Club members, spouses join in to help Friday Food Bag

Several club members including W.M. Stalcup, who still contributes to the club but lives out of state, along with some spouses helped Friday Food Bag volunteers fill over 800 bags for distribution to kids who need help food-wise to get through their weekends.

     The club's "workday" included a social dinner after the event at Uncle Charlie's restaurant with several attending and enjoying each other's company.

     Since 2010, when the Friday Food Bag Foundation was officially established, the group has been feeding hungry children with a sack lunch on Fridays, to supplement their meals at the school.
