What a great day to be a Rotarian.   Nine Rotarian’s and one beautiful guest, June, met at Kevin’s office to celebrate our first completed service project, a gift to Holly’s Blankets.  We were able to stuff Kevin’s car with pillows and blankets headed to give foster children something to call their own as they are placed in foster care.  It really was a great feeling to see all that had been donated since the first of September.  Thank you to each of you who donated and made this a successful service project.

Additionally, we had a great conversation over pizza and beer.  We have new ideas, energized Rotarian’s and a few prospective new members.

A few dates to keep in mind –

September 29 – Dr. Joe Schaffer, President of LCCC, will be speaking on what is happening at the college.

October 2 – District Assembly – Little America, Cheyenne.  As I said last week at our meeting, this is a great opportunity to learn more about Rotary and make new friends.  Consider attending.

October 6 – DG Ken Small will be here.  Please come to the meeting.  It is our chance to show what a small but strong club looks like.  That day we will also be doing flu shots and a VERY special award will be given away to one of our members.

Make today special for someone close to you give them a gift of a kind word, a hug or a smile.
