A great Tuesday meeting learning about how some of the leaders in the Cheyenne Community are working together to move Cheyenne forward.

What an amazing day to be a Rotarian.  The room was full, we had several guests and an wonderful guest speaker.  A cold, crisp morning In a room at the Epic Egg there were conversations taking place, giggles over something said or done which brought simple realizations that we are all different and make up an incredible group called Sunrise Rotary.

Congratulations to the Sunrise Rotary Club on receiving a $1,500 District Grant to add to the donation to the Laramie County Library for their First Step Early Literacy program.  Thank you to Dorothy Jacobson for heading up the process.

Mike Williams, Forward Greater Cheyenne spoke about the committee and their goals and missions.  It was exciting to have a discussion about future plans, rail system to the front range, keeping our young professionals in Cheyenne and growth over all.  Cheyenne is a great location for many new ventures and filled with citizens ready to engage.  A big thank you to Mike for his time and presentation.

Mark your calendars for Rotary Leadership Institute on February 22 and 23.  A chance to gain knowledge and understanding of Rotary.  The club will pay the $75.00 fee for RLI if you are interested in attending.

Stay warm and safe.
