What a Great day to be a Rotarian:
What a great way to start off a cold crisp February morning but with a cup of cocoa and some good friends.
We had 9 in the house and 6 on Zoom this a.m. Exciting news was shared that we have 2 new members joining us. Keri Anne Smialek and Brianne Phillips will become our newest Sunrise Rotarians. Welcome!
In honor of our dear friend and president Kathy, we will be supporting the Cancer Center Boutique through 1/3 of our golf proceeds this year. Keep Kathy in your prayers as she recovers.
RYLA and Spring District Assembly has been cancelled this year. Covid restrictions were far to hard to over come and produce the results we were hoping for.
Big thank you to Randy and Brian for their financial help with Foundation expenses. They got the Rotarian applause this a.m.
Jim Coffin will be sending out a note about upcoming service projects.
Finally, a BIG thank you to Dr. Cindy Henning, LCCC Athletic Director for her presentation on LCCC athletes and their community efforts, grades and skill. What an asset to our community. GO EAGLES!
