The 2014 Rotary District 5440 Conference is a chance to become more inspired as a Rotarian, and it is being held in your hometown, so there is no excuse not to go. Conference Chair Billie Addleman, also Past President of the Noon Club, said there are several Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary members involved; Past President Roxanne Ostlund will be the Emcee of the Opening Session, Club Secretary Brenda Laird is in charge of "free time" activities for the conference, and Past President Earl King is treasurer of the event.

Addleman said there are many other ways Sunrise Rotary members can help; just by attending the conference, hosting someone in your home, etc. He said Home Hospitality is one of the ways to meet Rotarians from around the district by personally hosting them to dinner in your home.

Under the Home Hospitality program, Rotarians from the Cheyenne noon and Sunrise Clubs volunteer to host four to six visiting Rotarians to dinner the first evening of the Conference. In your beautiful home, you are free to create the menu and atmosphere; be it a patio barbecue, indoors under the chandelier or a catered affair.

Yet another plus: By signing up now for Home Hospitality, you have more than a year to plan. Contact Dana Metzke, 634-8045 or chipgato@aol.com.
