Outgoing club president, Asst. District Gov. lauded
Outgoing Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary Club President Brenda Laird, who served one year then stepped back in when Milward Simpson unexpectedly took a job in Lander, says outgoing Assistant District Governor Billie Addleman, PP of the Rotary Club of Cheyenne, “rocked our world” with his assistance to our club, in donating to various causes our club supported, and by just being present a lot of the time at club meetings. Billie, in fact, had a better attendance at our club meetings than some of our members.
Billie, though, says the credit belongs to Brenda Laird. Our outgoing president, he says, is one of 15 club presidents he oversaw in his job for the Rotary District, and is the best of them all. “She’s held in high regard all across the district, and has been asked to speak several times on ‘How to Run A Rotary Club’,” Billie said.
Billie’s comments drew applause from all the members present, acknowledging the incredible job done by our outgoing president.
