What a great day to be a Rotarian –

A big thank you to Supreme Court Justice Kate Fox for giving us an overview of the "Access To Justice" project.   Great program once again.

Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club E.D. Rolinda Sample joined us and gave us an update on our gift to the Boys and Girls Club – the garden.  She was excited to tell us the Master Gardner’s helped with the garden and the kids are harvesting the fresh vegetables.  Thanks for the update and joining us Rolinda.

Kevin announced the kick off of our September’s service project, Holly’s Blankets. As Rotarian’s we can give foster kids a gift - a cover of their own.  Bring pillows and blankets to a meeting before September 22.  You can also donate cash for this cause.

Doc announced flu shots will be on the October 6.  We will also be joined that day by District Governor Ken Small.  Nice way to show our District Governor how the Sunrise Rotary Club stays healthy and also provides a gift to the polio project.  If you would like to support the service project by buying a vial of serum – please contact Doc.  President Brenda raised her hand and will buy the first vial.  Thanks Doc!

Golf tournament results - $8,155.50 - $2,718.50 to our Sunrise Foundation, Foster Grandparents and our LCCC Scholarship.  Thank you to the golf tournament committee.

Sept. 8 will be a club assembly, where you can give input into your club's activities and direction.

President’s thought for the week- As a Rotarian, be a gift to someone in your life.  Share a kind word or a compliment.
