Tuesday April 5, 2016 was another great day to be a Rotarian at the Sunrise Rotary Club.  Spring is just peeking at us and we are gearing up for our annual fundraiser golf tournament.  Everything we do, every dollar we raise is used to help others.  We are “Gifts to the World!”

It was a honor to have one of our fellow Rotarians, Mike Weiland, speak about his career in weather forecasting with the National Weather Service.  It was interesting to hear about how we measure rainfall and snowfall and why the measurements may not come out the same all over town.  Thank you Mike for sharing your knowledge with us.

May Day Baskets for sale – Don’t forget to get a loved one, special friend or your Mom a May Day basket.  The Rotaract Club is selling them for $20.

Want to look hot this summer?  I mean really hot this summer???  How about driving around in a mustang?  Tickets are available from the Noon Rotary Club for a chance to win this HOT car.  Contact Mr. Bob Womack for tickets.

April 12 we will have breakfast at Brenda’s.  Same time but different location.  We will have a special presentation to former club president Andy Miller using Facetime.

Get out and enjoy the nice weather and get the swing ready for June 24, 2016.
