Today was a great day to be a Rotarian.  We started the morning welcoming a new member to our club.  Gunnar Skidmore has joined our club (loud cheer!)

We also welcomed LCCC’s president,  Dr. Joe Schaffer.  Dr. Schaffer gave us a college update. Thank you Joe for the presentation on enrollment, Covid transition, on line learning challenges, and the future in higher education.  Wonderful presentation.

Hugs sent out to our club President, Kathy for a speeding recovery.  We miss you dearly.

Golf Tournament update was given.  Please let Brenda or Kevin know if you have sponsor suggestions and please encourage your golfer friends to form a team.

Speakers needed for June and July.  If you have any suggestions for great speakers, contact Brenda or Kevin.

Registration for virtual District Assembly are open on the District site.  The assembly will be May 21 and 22.

Jim Coffin and Kelly Wright will do a Greenway Clean Up at 6:45 a.m. instead of our normal meeting on May 25.  Breakfast burritos will be provided.  If you can’t make the morning, maybe a small group can meet after work as well.

Kelly and Jack Wright will be hosting a Rotary Social Hour on May 13th from 4:30 p.m - 6:30 p.m.  There will be mugs for sale as well with proceeds going to the club.  All clubs are invited.  Invite a friend interested in Rotary and join in on the fun.

THANKFUL THURSDAY is a go.  Please start thinking about raffle prize collections.  Dorothy will have more coming up soon.

Noon Club is having a Crow Creek cleanup on Saturday, May 1 at 8 am.  Meet at 1st and Morris.  Wear good shoes and bring leather gloves.
