RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a leadership training program for young men and women where leadership skills and principles are learned, developed and enhanced in an atmosphere of trust and respect. RYLArians also learn and practice the Rotary Four-Way Test.

RYLA Senior Counselor, Lucie Osborn, and Junior Counselor, Nic Chavez, spoke at the Sunrise Rotary group meeting on January 13th, 2015. They spoke about the benefits of RYLA and encouraged Rotarians to become Senior Counselors to support the young RYLArians.

Lucie Osborn volunteered a table of Rotarians to participate in a group/leadership building activity led by Nic Chavez.  The "volunteers" gained first-hand experience of what some RYLArians would be learning in the RYLA training program.

The Rotarians shared a lot of laughs and were great sports during the activity.
